The other day I was mindlessly scrolling on instagram and I stumbled across another wellness guru in the space... she had discovered this simple yet essential kitchen hack and i've been OBSESSED ever since implementing them into my cooking routine – herb-infused oil cubes! If you're tired of dealing with messy herbs and measuring out oil every time you cook, this recipe is for you. Let's dive in and discover how these little cubes can revolutionize your cooking game.

Heres what you'll need:

  • Ice Cube Tray

  • Organic Olive Oil (or your preferred oil)

  • Organic Fresh Herbs: I used... Basil, Dill and Rosemary

Method:

  1. Chop the fresh herbs into small pieces.

  2. Place a pinch of each herb into the compartments of an ice cube tray.

  3. Fill each compartment with olive oil.

  4. Freeze the tray until the oil solidifies.

  5. Once frozen, transfer the herb-infused oil cubes to a container or bag for storage in the freezer.

Notes:

  • Each cube is roughly 2 tablespoons of oil.

  • Simply pop out a cube whenever you need oil for cooking and let it melt in the pan.

WHY use these ingredients? Let me tell you!

Olive Oil: Heart-healthy and versatile.

Basil: Adds freshness and flavor.

Dill: Citrusy and aids digestion.

Rosemary: Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

Herb-infused oil cubes are a game-changer in the kitchen. They save time, reduce waste, and add a burst of flavor to your dishes. Give them a try and see the difference for yourself!
